Art with Mira
Mira's love of art began at an early age with her classic sketches in pencil, charcoal and conté, with which she captures the nuances of shading. She masterfully works in oil, acrylic and watercolour painting as well as scratchboard, calligraphy and chinese sumi-é painting. She has taken classes in clay sculpture as well as silk floral corsage and bouquet making at Etobicoke School of the Arts. She has experience with a wide variety of fibre arts such as embroidery, cross-stitch, macrame and sewing. Mira has recently created a number of sculptures using the textile-hardening medium of Paverpol, and is a Certified Paverpol Instructor.
